Android is the hottest gadget now in the world. Many vendor release their smartphone with android inside and public very happy with it. The Android is own by Google but release the source code to public. With this strategy, Android predicted as the 2nd OS platform for mobile in the end of this year. But I believe, this predicted is wrong because Android will become TOP OS platform for mobile.
Not only smartphone has been in touch with android. Netbook, tablet and embedded device like MID already use the android as the operating system. But so far Google only release Google Nexus One as official gadget that release by them. But who knows, Google will release tablet PC like iPad from Apple.
Now is for 4G era, LTE technology has already hold by android with HTC Evo 4G. For others OS platform?, could you help me which smartphone that using 4G technology on it?, fast and faster when android adopt by smartphone manufacture like HTC, Motorola and Sony Ericsson.
And predicted like above will come true, Android will kick out old OS platform from the top list.
