I have a sony xperia Z and when i disconnect the data services and try to use viber over wifi i encounter issues like, the incoming call is not audible and when i try to make an out going call i am advised to turn on the internet connection, no issues with any other apps that follow the same rules, could you please explain why and is there any remedy for it. thanks

]]> Comment on Free Calls and Messages with Viber for Android by Maru http://xperiaandroid.com/free-calls-and-messages-with-viber-for-android.html#comment-807 Maru Wed, 20 Feb 2013 14:00:43 +0000 http://xperiaandroid.com/?p=1712#comment-807 my phone is a sony experia go. the first time i bought it last september 2012 i was able to download the app and have been using ever since. however yesterday (19feb) there was an upgrade for viber. and the problem occured, i cant open or use it, so i decided to uninstall the app and re-installed. after it was installed i gave my mobile number and tapped “continue”. unfortunately there was no sms msg received, and the viber interface just closed. i tried to tap on the icon but it wont launch. i tried to uninstall and install all over again n again. still no sms msg for the code and the interface just wont launch.

what should i do? what can u suggest? pls help!!!!
