Finally after a long wait we can now download Instagram for Android. I just download the Instagram for my Xperia Android phone, X10, from Google Play Store. I’m happy because no need for an iPhone or iPad to share my photos to my friends or the world. However some similar apps like Instagram previously have been available in Google Play Store but the popularity Instagram beat them. That’s why many Android fans happy when Instagram has already available in Play Store.
Instagram is a mobile app that allows you to add filters, borders, and other effects to any photos that you captured, and share them with your friends or the world. Previously the app exclusively and popular on the iPhone and iPad but now Instagram is also available for Android.
This is smart step which taken by Instagram that very useful for expanding the popularity of Instagram application to the Android platform where we know the Android mobile platform has become a very widely used and expected in the near future will be the first in the number of users. So Instagram will get more users, more number to grow.
Instagram for Android needs Android 2.2 Froyo as the minimum requirement and the phone must support OpenGL ES 2. The Instagram works with front and rear cameras, features Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr and Foursquare sharing, and allows you to see a stream of photos from your friends when you first fire up the app.
Fortunately my Xperia Android phone, X10, has already support by Instagram. I could download the Instagram for Android directly from Google Play Store, but since the app is not exclusively only available for Sony Xperia Android phones, you also can download Instagram for Android from Play Store download link.

I don’t understand why its not working for me
( i have xperia x8 and its just not working.. I have app Market on my phone and its not there so i tried what you suggested – google play store.. I clicked Install, signed up, and i cant click install again.. why 
i want instagram!! or is it just not working cuz its xperia x8?
