Music Player Winamp app for Android 2.1 is ready to download. This is good news for me and may be for any Winamp fans since the popular music player app, called as Winamp for Android, has new update. There are new features which already added to the latest version of Winamp. The new features are additional free music, SHOUTcast now available on most Android 2.1 devices, streaming playback now powered by a new native Winamp media engine, updated SHOUTcast Featured Station List and support new languages.
But known Issue reported for some Motorola Droid X devices. There are experiencing user interface issues after upgrading to Android 2.3.3 which requires fix from Motorola.

Previously I already installed Winamp 1.0 for Android but since the SHOUTcast feature is not working for Android 2.1 device, I just remove it from my music player application for Android list. I just change with others music player apps such as power amp player and tune in. The both apps are good for me because I can play any music file and stream my favorite radio station to listen.
My Xperia X10 Android phone is still using stock ROM Android 2.1 Éclair. We need to wait and patient to get the update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Hopefully, when the Xperia X10 get the update to Android Gingerbread, there is no problem experiencing like happen to Motorola Droid X.
