Firefox 5 Test Builds and Firefox 6 are available for Android

Test builds of Firefox 5 and latest Firefox 6 for Android now available for download. The both version of Mozilla Firefox are made for Android to give the good experience as well as the desktop version to Android users. At the moment, for desktop version I prefer to use Firefox as my default browser while other browsers only use when I wanna try them.

But during mobile activity with my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Android 2.1 Eclair phone, I’m using native Android browser and Opera Mobile. The both browser has different function for me to support my daily activity. Honestly, at the first time when I received the Xperia X10, I installed the Firefox for Android from Android Market but after that I just uninstalled since I think the best experience with browser in my case with X10 is Opera Mobile.

So for now, let me give a try to Firefox 5 test build and or Firefox 6 in to my X10 Android phone. Hopefully I will have same experience with Firefox desktop version.

To ensure their market share in browser , Mozilla launch the mobile version of Firefox, called as Aurora and Nightly channels for Firefox Mobile which allowing Android users to test out early versions of Firefox 5 and Firefox 6.

The Aurora is not stable as the Firefox 4 web browser, it gives you a chance to lets your preview Firefox 5 on Android device. The Aurora would be prompted you to update the browser once a day as Mozilla launch the new features and bug fixes for the channel. If you think this update is annoying for you, let the browser become more stable and just use the Firefox 4 as the stable one.

While for Mozilla Nightly Build browser, this is less stable but it will give you Firefox 6 for Android taste. It’s prompted you once a day also like Aurora to install new features and bug fixes. So, like I said above, if you are not the tester to test the bleeding edge features or who loves to see the advance version of Mozilla browser, just stay away with the both channel especially the Internet connection is the big problem for you, just stay away from the both channel of Firefox mobile and let Firefox 4 accompany you during browse the web through your Android device.

But you can download each version of Firefox Mobile browser for Android from following links below.
