PSX4Droid emulator now free to download. After bad news happen when the PSX4Droid emulator had been pulled from Android Market, once the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY was launching. Than now ZodTTD who developer behind the app has updated the PlayStation emulator to latest version 3.0 and made the .apk file available to download freely through his website.
Not only pulled out from Market, the developer account for ZodTTD has been barred also, which means he can’t publish any application to Android Market anymore. And perhaps after several happen to him, he decided to released the source code for the emulator.
Some android fans believe that the PSX4Droid or FPSE is the better PlayStation emulator for Android for now. And now, after release the source code, hopefully other developer will contribute their effort to make the app more better and better. Let’s see how the emulator would grow beside the Xperia Play has already launch that bundle with so many interesting games.
