After PSX4Droid, PlayStation emulator app for Android, now other emulator for Sega Genesis has already pulled out from Android market. Gensoid Sega Genesis emulator has confirmed remove from Android market as per developer yongzh, the maker of several game console emulators for Google Android. Gensoid is an emulator application that allow us to play classic Sega Genesis games on Android phone or Android tablet.
Not sure the exact reason for this happen, if psx4droid pulled out after Sony Ericsson Xperia Play launched to market but for Gensoid still no word unless Sega’s request to pulled the app from the market. Or might be, Sega will follow Sony Ericsson to release their android gaming phone where for now Xperia Play is the leader on Android gaming market.
But since the Android has adopt widely by user, the app always available through Internet. You still could download the .apk file of the app by search that file through search engine like Google, Bing, Yahoo Search or others. But for me, I will search any .apk file through the forum.
However, I never play Sega’s game in my Xperia X10 Android phone. I’ve just playing the game that offers through the market, if I like the game, I would install the ad free version of the game to remove the ad and get others feature which available only in pro version or paid version.
