Finally Google Android 4.0 ICS ready for download now after the first appearance of the latest and the newest Google Android phone which collaborated with Samsung. The latest Google Android phone is naming as Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0 ICS inside.
Now the source code of Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich just releases to the public even the source code is specifically design for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone. But I believe somebody out there will ready to cook up the code to other Android devices once the pushing out by Google finish. Of course glad to hear when Google finally release the full version of the Android ICS source code, but it would be great to hear once the cooking ROMs with Android ICS ready to use. In this case I just hope somebody out there will cook the Android 4.0 ICS for Xperia X10 smartphone.
As we know, Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is designed to run on both Android smartphone and Android tablet. This is an updated version from Google Android to mix Android 2.3 Gingerbread that use for the smartphone and Android 3.0 Honeycomb that use for Android tablet become single Android OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. So from now, there is just one Android OS for all devices.
Okay, let the Google finished their works to pushing out the source code of Android 4.0 ICS to the server. Once finish, let’s download it but please notice the code is quite huge and it’s going to take a couple hours to transfer over.
Once again, it’s a great day for any Android lovers. Than hopefully soon, there are many custom ROMs for any Android devices available in Internet. Let’s see if your existing Android smartphone or Android tablets get an update from its manufacturer or from community with so many variant of custom ROMs.
