Just realize today when I would like to access the Android Market, there is pop up notification to accept or reject new term to access Google Play as Android Market replacement. I just tap YES to accept this than new layout display on Xperia X10‘s screen with new channel appear with just SONY stated on its channel instead of Sony Ericsson. So from today, Google Play is new branding name for Android Market which is put Android Market, Google Music, Google eBookstore, and video rentals into a new service. Well done Google!.
However not all services will available in all regions due to copyright and limited country access. And surely Google will review time by time to release digital content to others regions depend to the demand and others issue. But for now, let’s begin a new brand name as Google Play.
Google Play is one of the brilliant step which taken by Google to combine all these services into one place. But it will be a little bit silly to say if you would like to buy the latest office suite Android apps, novel, or utility for creating Android software at online store called “Play”. Yes, of course it needs time to adapt for some users like me to not say “Market” but “Play” to finger point to Google Play to download Android apps.
However Google is offering big discounts on music, books, and videos over the next 7 days to promote the Google Play as a new brand of Google services digital content.
