Well it’s good day for you who use Android device because Google releases Android 4.0.4. The Android 4.0.4 is the latest version which started offering by Google as software update for Motorola XOOM tablets, Samsung Nexus S, and Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android phone.
The new version of Android is a part of Android Open Source Project that give others Android developer to build the software update for their Android devices such as Sony Xperia, LG Optimus, Motorola Droid and others manufacturer. Also the independent Android developer teams like CyanogenMod team, MIUI team, and XDA member’s forum will likely start to build the custom ROM for a variety of Android phones and tablets on the new software.
Google releases Android 4.0.4 with some new improvements such as faster performance, quicker auto rotation, battery statistic are reported more accurate, and smoother transition from 3G to 4G networks and vice versa.
Beside the new features and improvements that offer by Google with new Android 4.0.4 version, Motorola as one of the leading Android manufacturer say if Motorola XOOM users should see Microsoft Exchange improvements, image and camera quality improvements, and a new setting to determine whether the power button immediately locks the device.
I just curios what will offer by Android independent developer by their custom ROM, perhaps they will offer some new features or improve the performance and wide support to the wide range of Android devices which is not support officially by the manufacturer. Hopefully CyanogenMod team offers Sony Xperia X10 to upgrade to Android 4.0.4 with many improvements that needed by X10′s user like me.
But for now, let’s celebrate the upcoming the new and the latest Google Android version, Android 4.0.4.
