Motorola Droid 2 runs with a powerful 1Ghz processor and Android 2.2 Froyo inside. The processor has already good enough to handle multi task which needed by the Motorola Droid 2 user. But for some owner, 1 Ghz processor is not enough and need to overclock to get more power.

This is impressive achievement but has a risk. Some user reported, it will kill the battery if improper procedure applying on overclock activity. So, if you dare to over clock you Droid 2. Please to read carefully the instruction or your battery will die.

Install Instructions
adb/terminal:
$ su
# cd /sdcard/extracted/droid2_22_oc (or wherever you extracted the files to)
# mount -o rw,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mcblk1p21 /system
# cp overclock.ko /system/lib/modules/overclock.ko
# cp setscaling.sh /system/xbin/setscaling.sh
# chmod 644 /system/lib/modules/overclock.ko
# chmod 755 /system/xbin/setscaling.sh# cp install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
# chmod 755 /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
# mount -o ro,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mcblk1p21 /system
Run Instructions
adb/terminal:
$ su
# insmod /system/lib/modules/overclock.ko
# setscaling.sh
Once again, please take note all precautions and be careful with your Motorola Droid 2.
