1. Download and install the latest version of Kies, Samsung’s software upgrade program from www.samsungmobile.co.uk (compatible with PC only)

3. Click on Easy Start to set your device up with the software
4. Back up all of your data using Kies
5. Select ‘update’ from the menu
6. The firmware update will download and install onto your Samsung Galaxy S

everybody knows this method, but when i tried almost 10 times it stops downloading firmware in mid and error massage that server not responding.
