HTC Aria Update to Android 2.2 Froyo. HTC Aria comes with Android 2.1 Eclair as the default Operating system. Many Android user love this phone. But since the Android 2.2 Froyo comes out, many HTC Aria owner start to find the update for their Aria Android phone.

At&T as the provider that release the Android phone doesn’t have any information regarding ROM update for HTC Aria to Android phone. However, the Android community starting their work to produce the ROM Android 2.2 Froyo for HTC Aria. Then the good news is comes from XDA forums, One of the ROM update for Android 2.2 has been release.

The ROM for the HTC Aria based off a CyanogenMod 6 port -CM6- and they call this ROM as “cheap and dirty” ROM update Froyo. However the ROm still need more update since a lot of things are still missing, from WiFi and Bluetooth support all the way to a buggy camera, but it is still Android 2.2 running on the HTC Aria.
