3. Download cwmrt5504.zip file to your PC

6. In recovery, perform a full backup of your existing ROM, by first Selecting Backup & restore, and then Backup on the next screen. This is a precautionary measure, so that you can revert to your earlier setup, in case something goes wrong with the current installation
7. Now scroll to “Install zip from sd card” and select it.
8. On the next screen, Select “Choose zip from sd card” , and then select the “cwmrt5504.zip” file you transferred to the sd card. This will start installation of the new touch CWM recovery.
After the installation is complete, the phone will boot directly into the new recovery. The colors may look a little wonky, but the recovery is fully functional. At this point, you can test the new CWM touch-recovery by trying a backup, or installing a custom ROM. If you reboot recovery, the phone will go back to the original Clockworkmod recovery.
