LG Optimus has already releases in UK by Carphone Warehouse for just £99. The LG Optimus is the Android phone line up from LG -the leading Korean smartphone manufacture-. It runs with Adnroid 1.6 -the old fashion of Android Operating system-, a 3 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.
The Carphone Warehouse sell the LG Optimus on £99 is SIM-free, this android handset previously priced on £149.99. The reducing the price will give advantage for the customer since many manufacture release their Android phone with competitive price.
However, since Android 2.2 Froyo has been influence the android world, much better if LG release update for LG Optimus to Android 2.2 Froyo or at least Android 2.1 Eclair. But no news regarding this update. But syou could still use the Android phone because LG Optimus has many links, all the social networking apps, and widgets you could ever wish for.
