Motorola Droid X Update to Android Gingerbread
Finally, Motorola Droid X users can expect a Gingerbread update soon. The update comes through OTA where we already heard the issue for months. This is a great news for any user of Droid X since we don’t need use the custom ROM to just enjoying the Gingerbread on Droid X. Now, it comes official, stock ROM with fully support from Motorola.
Finally the waiting was over. Looking forward to what is promised by Motorola to release updates Android Gingerbread for Droid X. Only Motorola is not going to give an official date when the update will be released soon, only if the first wave of releases updated Android Gingerbread test is completed, it automatically updates to the Droid X for Android Gingerbread immediately on release via OTA.
Fortunately for Motorola Droid X users who have been getting updates Android Gingerbread after it was released a few months ago. And now, I as a user of Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Android phone, waiting to feel that what has been promised by Sony Ericsson to update Android Gingerbread for so long. Hopefully at the end of Q3 it became much brighter in order to get updates Android Gingerbread or it’s time to use a custom Gingerbread ROM that has been circulating a lot in various forums.
So, if you think you’re waiting so long for the update. It is now end and we’re still waiting for X10 update to Android Gingerbread. Just wait we can do and hope that Sony Ericsson will not forget their promise.

Press your Home button to get to your Android home screen.
Press your Menu button.
Select Settings.
Select About.
Select System Updates.
Hopefully the update come to your Droid X as soon as possible to achieve another experience through Droid X with Android Gingerbread inside.
