Motorola uses the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 even to launch the Xoom. Xoom is the answer from Motorola in Tablet PC to challenge iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab. And the Xoom specialty is using Android 3.0 Honeycomb as the operating system.
Android 3.0 Honeycomb has been optimized to run for tablet, not like Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Honeycomb has many features to fit with tablet that has bigger display compare than smartphones. So, Xoom is claimed to be the first Android operating system created specifically for the tablet. Xoom be special because the tablet first to adopt the Honeycomb.
Xoom is armed with dual core processors have speed of 1 GHz. In addition, Xoom also powered by a internal memory 1 GB, 32 GB internal storage capacity and can be enlarged by using the SD card.
For display, the Motorola set-size 10.1-inch LCD screen. Xoom also has two cameras, resolution 2 MP on the front and 5 MP in the back that accompanied the lights flash.
