Do you use Facebook regularly on your mobile activity?, if yes, You should updated the Facebook to the newer version. In here, I’m talking about Facebook for Android, it has been updated to version 1.5.1. The new features on thelatest version is adds support for local deals.
This is new way which offer by Facebook to get free offers, savings, and special deals from nearby business. But Facebook has not stated if the Deals feature is available everywhere, but most probably only available in USA for now.
To get any local deals available, we need to check in to Facebook’s Places feature. The Feature that use our location using GPS or nearby BTS. However, the latest Facebook version also includes a number of bug fixes, and the changelog on the Market lists chat and push notifications as well, but those additions have been around for a while.
Even Facebook for Android has received a lot of criticism since its first release in September 2009, Facebook for Android app user will see significant improvement to the app. Because Facebook could not ignored the Android user to update or communication through facebook.
As we know, Facebook plans to release the Facebook smartphones based on Android Operating System. Even Facebook is serious contender for Google to get the ads from advertiser, Facebook use the Android and trust it to become as their Operating System on Facebook phone.
Back to the app, I just wish that we could see if we have any new notifications directly from the news feed, like on the mobile website, so we don’t have to go to a separate section of the app for that.
