Playing with HTC TyTn II, Will convert to Android?
I’m HTC fan. I have one HTC smartphone, always use it in my daily activity. Calling a friend, receive call from somebody, texting through stylus or qwerty keypad, instant messenger with YM or Gtalk, emailing and more. The HTC model that I use is HTC TyTN II with upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1 with dozens third party software to help me explore my HTC smartphone.
HTC TyTN II is older smartphone and can not compare with the latest HTC smartphone which release to the market recently. But TyTn II is not too old for me because what I need to fulfill my mobile activity already in HTC TyTN II. Hey, TyTN II already support 3G/HSDPA.
Many forum talking about TyTN II, many sites provide new cooked ROM with windows mobile 6.5, game full version or apps full version including Garmin. Some of them -which I need- already installed in my HTC.
Then good news come to me, some body already success install android operating system to TyTN II. Interesting, awesome could describe their effort to hack the smartphone. But I don’t have the courage to convert my TyTN to android for now. Maybe some day I’ll do it and starting to explore the android world.
However I do not expect the performance will equal with HTC Evo 4G but from the Android which install in HTC TyTN II, I could imagine how HTC Evo kicks iPhone to the trash bin.
