Samsung Galaxy S with Reset Bug
Samsung Galaxy S reported has Reset bug and already confirmed to affect an undisclosed number of device. The reset bug claimed can cause auto-resets then all the data contained within Samsung Galaxy S erased.
The bug is very critical since could erased the data and as we know, the data is very valuable since we bring the our working data to the device. Or do you want lost your data which you collect day to day then gone with one bug?, No isn’t it.
The “Reset bug” could do their work only occurs if the Galaxy S device contains a file name extension longer than 16 characters according to V3 spokesman. And as the temporary solution, he added comment “The issue will be remedied immediately when the file is removed.” So, if you Samsung galaxy S owner, please do audit to your file name extension then ensure not longer than 16 characters.
Until now, no news confirm on just how many handsets are affected. Hopefully, Samsung will fix the reset bug before the end of August and they still have 2 days more. However with this bug, it could use by other manufacture competitor as the weapon to attack the Samsung Galaxy S performance like the antenna gate case which influence Samsung vs Apple.
