SMS Trojan on Android has been revealed by Kaspersky Lab. The package name of Trojan-SMS.AndroidOS.FakePlayer.b as opposed to the original FakePlayer.a. This is the second virus has been located fit the sama M.O. However,the latest virus is distributed “via clever search engine optimization techniques, a clear sign that cyber-criminals are making every effort to infect mobile devices.”

SMS application is a popular billing method which use by the virus to dipping into adult pay services so better did not download any SMS apps for wiser. Most of them available on the third party source online, to prevent the trojan or virus through the SMS application better you go to Android market to get the correct and clean SMS application. Because onece you download the SMS apps from unknown trusted source, though, there is no actual application to run, only an adult-themed icon on your homescreen and a background service pinging $5 text messages to premium numbers.

Different method if you get the SMS application from Android market, there is alert message to ask your permission to send SMS messages. So, please wisely and always read what the alert message appear on your screen during application installation.
