Sony Ericsson officially launched new generation of Xperia Mini and Mini Pro. The both phones based on the older Xperia Mini but with hardware improvement and touch sensitive button. The great news are the both Xperia phone have cool improvement in many various aspect such as a 1Ghz processor, run with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Bravia Engine in 3 inch display, 720p HD video recording capability, xLOUD experience with better speaker performance, smile detection, video stabilizer and red eye reduction for camera application.
Not just above specs, it has ROM 320Mb with microSD card slot support up to 32Gb while screen resolution on 320 x 480 pixels (HVGA) TFt Screen. The both Xperia Mini phones seems promising to support our mobile activity.
However the battery capacity is 1200mAh and hopefully it could support the life of Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro. As we know, the data connection will consume battery depend on how many applications run on background. Not sure if the phones could life without charging for 7-12 hours because in my experience with Xperia X10 it just has 8 hours before charging where X10′s battery capacity is 1500mAh.
The both phones are identical except a full qwerty keyboard on Xperia Mini Pro while the new Xperia Mini Pro also has feature a front facing camera. With the latest Google talk version, we could make video chat between the gtalk user. The release date for Sony Ericsson New Generation Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro to be expected available in Q3 2011.
Hopefully, on that day not just the new Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro launched to market also update the Android Gingerbread for Xperia X10. If this happens, Sony Ericsson has already give us great impression to bring up the Xperia Android phone line up to higher position among other Android phone.
So, what do you thin?, it will come true or just my dream?
