Sprint Update to Android 2.1 for Samsung Moment
Good news coming from Sprint which is release their official update Android 2.1 Eclair for Samsung Moment. This is official announcement after many leakage memos on this. Well, Eclair is one step behind for Android 2.2 but it seems quite okay since the Android 2.1 has many improvement and feture compare than previous version. However, once again, this is for Samsung Moment owner. No word or news for Sprint Hero. Be patient is the answer.
But don’t happy for Samsung Moment owner since this update is not not an over-the-air update, so there’s a bit of manual labor involved. Additionally, this update will wipe everything you’ve got on your device. Do backup is wise action before partaking, make sure to back up all your apps, ringtones, pictures of your girls or pets, and any other important goodies you might have laying around. Text messages can’t be backed up, and aren’t synced to the cloud — so if you’ve got a text you like just ensure to forward to email or something.
