Great news for all HTC Desire's Virgin Media customer since the update for Android 2.2 Froyo has release already for now. The Android 2.2 Froyo update has finally made for HTC Desire. Then the best news is, the update will come to the HTC Desire through OTA Over The Air. You no need to mess around with applying manually.

Their September 1 report showed a surprising increase in the latest version. 28.7 percent of all phones running Android Froyo. UK O2 has already pull the Android Froyo update for HTC Desire once the buggy report received. The bug has been impact to HTC Desire to freezes and device crashes. Not sure why this bug happen, but once they get the report, O2 quicly pulled the update and posted a statement in the O2 forums.
