Finally Xperia X10 upgrade to Android 4.0 ICS. But upgrading process is not officially from Sony since it done by Android software independent developer, XDA Developer team. Sony just plans to release upgrade only for entire 2011 Xperia Android Phone including Xperia Arc, Xperia Neo and Xperia Play. While Xperia X10 released to public in 2010, so no plan from Sony to release an upgrade to Android 4.0 ICS.

This would be great to know how to upgrade Google Nexus One to Android 4.0 ICS. As we know, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest and greatest Android OS which the source code just release by Google a few days a go. The recently concluded 2010 Mobile Congress World held in Barcelona, Spain showcased an exciting array of mobile phones we should be seeing soon starting this quarter. The struggling Sony Ericsson has yet to released the Xperia X10 announced in early November 2009 but we are now seeing two new derivatives of that with its Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro and the Mini, both running the same old Android 1.6 Cupcake when every other Android phone at the Congress were already suing the newer 2.0 Éclair.

Very few smartphones have elicited as much interest and awe as the announced Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 made early November last year. Feature wise, it’s everything people expect an upscale smartphone is, other than the fact that it is the most powerful Android handset running on the fastest CPU at that time.
