Upgrade HTC Flyer to Android 3.0 Honeycomb
Now it’s time to Upgrade HTC Flyer to Android 3.0 Honeycomb. As we know, HTC Flyer out to stores with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread where android 3.0 Honeycomb still in progress. HTC Flyer is a portable 7-inch tablet with a digital pen that can do more for you than you can imagine. From creating masterpieces with a stroke of a paintbrush, to taking multimedia notes or even signing digital documents, HTC Flyer puts you in control of any situation. With streaming movies at a touch of your finger, HTC Flyer turns any moment into something special.
HTC Flyer powered by a 1.5Ghz processor for superfast browsing and seamless multitasking. It also has latest Adobe Flash and HTML5 support for fluid video playback. Front-facing camera for capturing fun self portrait stills or videos. Wi-Fi printing for when you need a printed copy of emails, documents or photos. and stereo speakers for a richer movie watching and music listening experience.

The HTC Flyer didn’t support Honeycomb at launch because Google didn’t add support for 1024×600 screen resolution until Android 3.2, which came out relatively recently. Buyers of this or any other 7″ Honeycomb tablet should be prepared for the possibility that they won’t be able to run the full selection of Honeycomb apps that their 10″ brethren enjoy. It’s impossible to know how wide-spread the problems will be until people start buying those tablets and testing out the apps, but it’s pretty likely that the ride won’t be entirely smooth right away.
And now we’ve got build of Honeycomb for the HTC Flyer in RUU. But if you can not take the risk, I suggest you to not do this update. Just wait the official update HTC Flyer to Android 3.0 Honeycomb from HTC. However if you love to run Android Honeycomb in your HTC Flyer, get the RUU from Modaco.
