The Minor Xperia arc firmware update has already receive for UK handsets. The update is a minor which rolling out to UK Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Android phone. The update version become 3.0.A.2.184 from previous version on 3.0.A.2.181 but not entirely sure what’s new on the new firmware.
This is a good news for us because Sony Ericsson has already shows their effort to give us the latest firmware for their Xperia android phone line up. Unlike previous Xperia phone, with Android Donut version as pre-install and long wait to get update Android Eclair, hopefully this minor update as good sign from Sony Ericsson to hear us as their customer.
From the minor update, we can tell the only difference is a new BBC iPlayer application. But no any improvement in performance after update the Xperia Arc. So, if you outside the UK just stick with your existing firmware unless you get the update notification directly to your phone. With this update, it make the ‘184’ firmware is the latest firmware to have been certified on PTCRB.
