Xperia Play is Android Gaming Phone from Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson has ready to launch the latest Android gaming smartphone, called as Xperia Play. This is Xperia Android phone series but focused on game. As we know, many gamers dream to play the core games especially PlayStation game on their Android phones. So, Sony Ericsson has been answer the dream.
PlayStation emulator has been popular to emulate the games and play them on Android phones. The most pular emulator for PlayStation is psx4droid that has supported various ROM format. Depart from the fact, Sony Ericsson try to get the demand by releasing the first PlayStation phone, it rumor called as Xperia Play.
As far as we know, the Xperia Play runs with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1 GHz processor, 3.7 inch display with a Bravia-quality display, and huge of RAM 512 MB. But no word for the camera quality. However since this is the gaming android phone, of course we are just interested in knowing how well Xperia Play plays the games.
Xperia Play will give another challenge or chance for game developer to deploy the popular PlayStation game to the PlayStation phone. But it still need more times since the it is still in preproduction and there is a lot of adjustment to do before announcement that plan on February or March 2011.
It will interesting to know how PlayStation Android phone attract the gamers to try it and lastly buy the Xperia Play. So, what we can do is awaiting announcement for release date of PlayStation phone. Hopefully, it will become interesting gadget for us or just another PlayStation Portable with phone capability.
