Finally Xperia X10 upgrade to Android 4.0 ICS. But upgrading process is not officially from Sony since it done by Android software independent developer, XDA Developer team. Sony just plans to release upgrade only for entire 2011 Xperia Android Phone including Xperia Arc, Xperia Neo and Xperia Play. While Xperia X10 released to public in 2010, so no plan from Sony to release an upgrade to Android 4.0 ICS.

This would be great to know how to upgrade Google Nexus One to Android 4.0 ICS. As we know, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest and greatest Android OS which the source code just release by Google a few days a go. However, Google had said where Google Nexus One is too old to run Android 4.0 ICS. At that time, it is a bad day for Android users who use Google nexus One Android phone and others similar specifications Android phone. Nevertheless, the good luck comes now.

Just receive good news yesterday when Xperia Android phones upgrade to Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Referring to SE Blog, they plan to upgrade the entire Xperia phones to Android 4.0 ICS. SE plans to merge Xperia experience with new features in Android 4.0.
With this announcement, Sony becomes the latest manufacturer to apply Android 4.0 ICS to their current smartphones to follow what like HTC and Motorola announced to offer Android 4.0 ICS updates for their existing Android phone. So, hopefully the update version of Android 4.0 ICS will be available for each Android smartphones in early next year.
However not all Xperia Android phones will get the update since SE just confirm to release an update of Android 4.0 ICS ...

Finally Google Android 4.0 ICS ready for download now after the first appearance of the latest and the newest Google Android phone which collaborated with Samsung. The latest Google Android phone is naming as Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0 ICS inside.
Now the source code of Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich just releases to the public even the source code is specifically design for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone. The recently concluded 2010 Mobile Congress World held in Barcelona, Spain showcased an exciting array of mobile phones we should be seeing soon starting this quarter. The struggling Sony Ericsson has yet to released the Xperia X10 announced in early November 2009 but we are now seeing two new derivatives of that with its Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro and the Mini, both running the same old Android 1.6 Cupcake when every other Android phone at the Congress were already suing the newer 2.0 Éclair.
