Xperia X10 become Top Seller Smartphone in Japan
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 start its debut in Japan with NTT DoCoMo -the major carrier in Japan-. The debut is impressive since the Xperia X10 sold 120,000 handsets in the first three weeks after its April launch. This happen is very surprisingly since the Xperia X10 has Android 1.6 with no multi touch and interface issues.
This sales rate topped an unspecified HTC Android phone that only moved 80,000 units in the 10 months since its launch on DoCoMo, and even bested the figures of the 32GB iPhone 3GS (though we will assume it didn’t quite overtake the combined sales with the 16GB model).
However, the Xperia X10 is in high-demand, with its first few shipments selling out quickly and more on the way. How about if Sony Ericsson release their upgrade xperia X10 to Android 2.1?, not sure but could predicted the X10 will hit top selling again. But, how if Sony Ericsson just jump upgrade to latest Android version Android 2.2 Froyo?

Anyone else noticed that the white DoCoMo Xperia includes a front-facing camera? The same positioning as my SE Bravia DoCoMo phone.
Maybe that’s why there was a 2 month waiting list for the white one, but the black one was available immediately. Anyway, the Amazon.co.jp website already has a slew of Xperia add-ons, including some rather nice cases.
Not sure whether they are Japan market only.
Just wish there was a way to feed text into Google Translate via OCR from a camera photo.
